Security will kill you. If you focus on maintaining the status quo, not taking risks, playing it safe, etc, you are doomed to fail. Once you stop taking risks, you stop growing, and if you aren't growing you are dying. The world will change and you won't, and you will fall behind. The worst part of playing it safe is the loss of joy of achievement. Getting something you didn't work for doesn't generate much joy. On the other hand, achieving something you planned for, worked for and risked it all for, gives you a high nothing on this earth can compare to. Take some risks today and live.

In our youth, we didn’t appreciate being called a “chip off the old block.” But, this was really a compliment to our inner powers.
Deep within you is a rock of strength, an immovable foundation of physical, emotional, mental and spiritual muscle. You empower yourself when you take charge of that inner muscle, for this is your real self, your true character.
Each of us is a combination of the physical self, the emotional self, the mental self and the spiritual self. When you nurture these “selves,” you naturally grow more creative, energetic and empowered to enjoy life.
So, don’t be afraid of becoming a “chip off the old block.” For within you, at this moment, is a firm foundation that will always remain unshakeable.

Giving love is the law that applies to everything in your life. And giving love is the law of relationships. The force of love doesn't care whether you know someone or not, whether a person is a friend or foe, a loved one or a complete stranger. The force of love doesn't care if you're encountering a work colleague, boss, parent, child, student, or a person serving you in a store. With every single person you come into contact with, you are either giving love or you're not. And what you give is what you will receive.
Relationships are your biggest channel to give love, and so you can change your entire life just through the love you give in your relationships. At the same time though, relationships can be your biggest downfall, because they are often your biggest excuse for not giving love!
