I AM VIGILANT FOR THE LIGHT

Today I am more aware of my thoughts, and I choose thoughts of the light rather than of darkness. Regardless of how attractive the thoughts of darkness may look - or how rewarding Ego says they will be - I know the difference between light and dark thoughts. Today, I repeat the words "I am vigilant for the light" to myself as many times as possible. I choose light over darkness and love over fear. Today I am vigilant for the light, all day long.

ASSIGNMENT
In the morning after reading the lesson, sit quietly and ask yourself whom you resent. The first person who comes to mind is the right person. Make an attempt to contact this person; talk face-to-face, call on the telephone, write, or meditate and clear the resentment.

Affirmation: I am vigilant for peace.

Meditation can make you more aware of your biologic aliveness. Go deeper and you discover your metaphysical aliveness...the eternal you. Go there often and you develop Presence, fully residing in your body, in touch with your biologic and metaphysical energy. Reside there and you have Enlightenment...

A peaceful man is not completely free from the pinch of life's aggravations. He simply declines to give them power and refuses to be held captive by them.

In the Christian tradition, the Epiphany is the celebration of the revelation of the divine in human form. Epiphanies are awakenings, deep insights that come from that which is both what we are and yet larger than ourselves. They are the moments when we wake up to something that reveals the Sacred Wholeness, the essence, the meaning that has eluded us. It's a good day to be open to seeing what we have not seen before, to open to and give thanks for moments of awakening. Epiphanies are revelations, moments in our lives of which we can say: "After that, everything was changed,"- because our way of seeing was widened and deepened forever.

Thoughts

The Creation Ground of Experience

During the day we can monitor our thoughts to see if we are investing our energy where it isn't useful.

Our thoughts are powerful forces in the creation of our experience of life. You may be able to recall a time when frustration that was based on a misunderstanding completely evaporated when your understanding changed. This is because our interpretation defines our experience, and it can change in an instant. Our only true reality is the present moment, so rather than merely accepting that life is happening to us, we can harness the power of our thoughts to actively create a positive reality. For example, we can choose to appreciate beauty around us rather than focusing on traffic or look for admirable qualities in the people we deal with rather than focusing on the negative. By choosing how to interpret and define each moment with your thoughts, you truly create your reality.

Throughout the day, we can monitor our thoughts to catch ourselves in the middle of investing our energy elsewhere ~ such as into belief in limitations ~ and instead pull our focus back to the infinite possibilities of the present. Taking a deep breath will help us center our thoughts on being in our bodies right now. Regular meditation allows us to gain mastery over our minds so that we can still our thoughts to focus on the pureness of being. If we mentally dwell on the past or the future, we may miss the experience of living in the present moment. Setting and visualizing goals is wonderful, but we can bring our thoughts into our current experience by taking steps to create them now.

Our minds are powerful tools that we can harness to create our reality. Through them we move the unformed energy of the universe into form, which gives us direction for our words and actions. Each thought is like a stone dropped into a lake, sending ripples out into our world to affect all they touch. We can choose our focus and how we invest our energy, which gives us the power to design our lives to be whatever we choose in each and every moment.

A Note from the Universe

What you can do with your life has little to do with what's going on in the world.

And everything to do with what you see as possible.

Grrr-r-r,
    The Universe

The perfect contrast of your time-space reality will continue to stimulate your thirst while also holding the promise to fulfill every desire that has been inspired. And so, whether you are focused upon contrast in this moment—and so, are in the process of asking for more—or whether you are focused on your breathing in this moment and are allowing what you have asked for, it is all part of the process, and it is all on your path.

Over time, your appreciation for the question will become equivalent to your appreciation for the answer, and your appreciation for the problem will become equivalent to your appreciation for the solution. And in your newfound ease with what-is, you will find yourself in the state of allowing what you truly desire. And then, all manner of cooperative components will reveal themselves to you in a delicious co-creative dance of Deliberate Creation.

Spring or not, it is time for some Spring-cleaning of your values.  Time has past, you have grown, changed, etc, and yet you probably have kept many of the same values, ideas, etc that you always had.  Take some time to think about what really matters to you now, and compare it to what you thought 5 years ago.  Chances are you will find some areas, you have new opinions on, and yet you may still be acting in ways that do not matched these new values.

Daily Teaching from The Power

"Your own soul is nourished when you are kind; it is destroyed when you are cruel."
~ King Solomon (Circa 10th Century BC)
Biblical King of Israel, in Proverbs 11:17

When you are on a feeling frequency of love, then only people who are on the same feeling frequency as you are can come into your life.

You know some days you feel really happy, some days you feel irritated, and others you feel sad. You can be many different versions of yourself. A person in a relationship with you can also be many versions, including happy, irritated, or sad. No doubt you will have seen them being many different versions, but every version is still that person. When you're happy, then only the happy version of other people can come into your life. But you have to be happy to receive the happy versions of other people!

It doesn't mean you are responsible for other people's happiness, because everyone is responsible for their own lives and happiness. What it means is there's nothing else for you to do but to feel happy yourself, and the law of attraction will do the rest.
