Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage.

Every tomorrow has two handles. We can take hold of it with the handle of anxiety or the handle of faith.
                        ~ Henry Ward Beecher

*********************************

Ego love is good, but limited, sometimes forced, or has an agenda (even carrying out the mental plan, "I'm going to be a loving person"). Spiritual love, on the other hand, is quite different. Spiritual love is more like turning up the wattage on a light bulb so everyone can bask in its soft, warm glow. It's an unlimited love, not forced, with no agenda other than channeling this other-worldly love you have discovered and and sharing it with others.
                        ~ Jay Morgan

*********************************

truth is perfect and complete in itself. it always exists. it is not far away, but ever near. we do not walk to it, but our every step is made possible by it. therefore, do not follow other persons' thoughts and philosophy - but learn to listen to the voice within yourself.
                        ~ shri brahmananda sarasva

*********************************

Everything you've ever done, every person you've ever met, every experience you've ever had, is a part of who you are today...adding interesting layers to your being, and colorful depths to your soul. Everything needed to be as it was, so you could grow as you did and do.
                        ~ Karen Salmansohn

*********************************

Nothing can be delicious when you are holding your breath.
                         ~ Anne Lamott

*********************************

To love life through labor is to be intimate with life's inmost secret. All work is empty save when there is love, for work is love made visible.
                        ~ Kahlil Gibran

*********************************

The true self, once discovered, is the source of creativity, intelligence and personal growth. No external solution has such power.
                        ~ Deepak Chopra

*********************************

When you're always trying to conform to the norm, you lose your uniqueness, which can be the foundation for your greatness.
                        ~ Dale Archer

*********************************

The mind thinks of everything you can lose. The heart thinks of everything you can give, and the soul thinks of everything you are
                        ~ Neale Donald Walsch

Open-ended experience

What you’re able to do is not a function of what other people think of you or allow you to do. What you’re able to do depends on what you expect of yourself and on what you choose to do with your time.

If you allow others to define you, then you enable them to control you. Choose instead to take full responsibility for your own life, and to do whatever is necessary to bring real fulfillment.

The world will throw all sorts of assumptions your way about what is possible and what is not possible. Look beyond the presumptions and limitations that others imagine, and connect with your own highest vision of how life can be.

The fact is, you can achieve what you set your mind and your efforts to achieve, with honor, integrity and joy. Life is an open-ended experience, and the results you achieve come from what you expect to achieve and what you work to achieve.

Certainly, you can be fruitfully guided by the past experiences in your own life and in the lives of others. Yet nothing about what has already been has to stand in the way of the best you can now be.

Focus less on what others think of you, and more on bringing your own unique beauty more fully to life. Make the commitment to live each moment with richness and authentic purpose, and show all of life how very much goodness you’re able to give.
                        ~ Ralph Marston

Willingness to Feel
Opening to Understanding

When we are resisting something based on a limited understanding, we must then open ourselves to willingness.

There are times when we may find ourselves struggling or even fighting with our thoughts and emotions. We may feel that something must be done in a certain way or not at all, or there may be some other situation that feels absolutely black and white. But life is not this way ~ it's the way we are looking at our experiences that is causing the turmoil within us. When we become aware that the struggle we are having is with ourselves, we can turn our attention to the source in order to solve the problem, but we must be being willing to look where we need to and feel emotions that may make us uncomfortable at first. Then we can choose to really open ourselves to understanding all the options we can imagine. We are likely to discover that we are resisting something based on a limited understanding, and we must then open ourselves to willingness.

When we are willing to look at all the possibilities, we also become willing to accept that there is room for more than we can imagine. We can release ourselves from the grip we had on our emotions and stop limiting ourselves. We may have been unwilling to experience feeling loss, confusion, fear, or even joy for some reason or another, but when we realize that our understanding was limited we allow space for the universe to move in our lives.

Opening ourselves to willingness may feel like we are surrendering or abandoning all that we believed. But at the same time it is an act of power and courage because it is a conscious choice we make about how to apply our personal will. Being willing is to be in a state of willing something into creation. It is at once allowing ourselves to be while also choosing to direct our energy in a focused way. It is being and doing from a place of openness, where we can work with the universe rather than resist it. It is an open hand rather than one that is clenched into a fist. When we make a step toward willingness, we open ourselves to truth, possibility, and the movement of the wise universe in and through our lives.

SHE LET GO

By Ernest Holmes

She let go. Without a thought or word, she let go.
She let go of the fear. She let go of the judgments. She let go of the confluence of opinions swarming around her head. She let go of the committee of indecision within her. She let go of all the "right" reasons. Wholly and completely, without hesitation or worry,
she just let go.

She didn't ask anyone for advice. She didn't read a book on how to let go.
She didn't search the scriptures. She just let go. She let go of all the memories that held her back. She let go of all the anxiety that kept her from moving forward. She let go of the planning and all the calculations about how to do it just right.
She just let go.

She didn't promise to let go. She didn't journal about it. She didn't write the projected date date in her Day-Timer. She made no public announcement and put no ad in the paper. She didn't check the weather report or read her daily horoscope.
She just let go.

She didn't analyze whether she should let go. She didn't call her friends
to discuss the matter. She didn't do a five-step Spiritual Mind Treatment.
She didn't call the prayer line, She didn't utter one word.
She just let go.

No one was around when it happened. There was no applause
or congratulations. No one thanked her or praised her. No one noticed
a thing. Like a leaf falling from a tree,
she just let go.

There was no effort. There was no struggle. It wasn't good and it wasn't bad. It was what it was, and it is just that.

In the space of letting go, she let it all be. A small smile came over her face.
A light breeze blew through her.
And the sun and the moon shone forever more.

Notes from the Universe

A main "Criterion of Consciousness" for the human experience, is never having all you want. For as one dream comes true, another swiftly takes its place. Not having all you want is one of life's constants.
And learning to be happy while not yet having all you want is the first "Criterion of Joy." Nail it, and for the rest of your life people will be asking what it is about you.

Desire is a beautiful thing.
    The Universe

****************************

Do you ever wonder where all those glorious seconds, minutes, and hours go that recently poured through your fingers on an idle weekend or a cool evening, when suddenly you feel like you're racing the clock on some crazed, hurried weekday?

Nowhere. They're still there, lazing around. They just look different when you focus upon what you haven't done, instead of what you have done.

Your output is legendary,
    The Universe

****************************

The real reason your brain is so large, compared to most of the other blessed creatures dwelling in time and space, is so that you can vividly imagine all the exquisite, exciting, and enthralling details of your heart's desires; not so that you can figure out who you need to meet, when you need to meet them, where you need to be, or how you're going to pull it all together.

Your brain's not nearly that big.

But mine is,
    The Universe

****************************

Asking someone to change is like pruning a tree: neither will ever be the same again.

Scarier still, is that you can't quite know in what new directions they'll grow.

But hey, it's still your call.

Little else you say can change so much in the life of another as words of praise, compliments, or encouragement.

Way to go, beautiful -

Go way out.

Think beyond your present dreams, to the dreams you will have once they've already come true.

And when you can clearly see that life and those dreams in your mind's eye - how confident you will walk and how proud you will feel - start walking and feeling like that today.

Far out,

'The Teachings of Abraham' by Esther and Jerry Hicks

We come forth not to alter your beliefs, but to reacquaint you with the Eternal Laws of the Universe so that you may intentionally be the creator that you have come forth to be, for there is not another who attracts into your experience that which you are getting—you are doing it all.

We come forth not to get you to believe anything, for there is not that which you believe that we do not want you to believe. And as we are viewing this wondrous physical Earth plane, we see great diversity in that which you believe—and in all of that diversity, there is perfect balance.

****************************

You can be fully satisfied with where you are, understanding that you're eternally evolving. When you get into that place of feeling appreciation of where you are and of who you are, and appreciation of what you are, and you accept that you are a never-ending, always unfolding Being, then you can stand in that delicate balance of being optimistic about what is to come, without being unhappy about where you stand. Find a way of eagerly anticipating future changes, while at the same time you are in love and satisfied with who, what, where and how you be.

****************************

A very good career choice would be to gravitate toward those activities and to embrace those desires that harmonize with your core intentions, which are freedom and growth—and joy. Make a "career" of living a happy life rather than trying to find work that will produce enough income that you can do things with your money that will then make you happy. When feeling happy is of paramount importance to you—and what you do "for a living" makes you happy—you have found the best of all combinations.

****************************

If you've got somebody's aspects in your experience that you don't like, there's only one reason they're there. You keep evoking them with your attention to them. Without knowing about Law of Attraction, you have — through your old habit of observation — achieved vibrational harmony with the parts of them that you do not like, and you keep summoning those parts from them by your constant vibrational offering of them.

*************************************************

One Minute Motivator by Edward W. Smith

If you want someone to pay attention to you, pay attention to him or her first.  Look and act like you care, and actually caring is even better. Show interest.  No one ever get into trouble by showing too much interest, enthusiasm, etc, for the things they are involved in. If you want special attention from your boss, coach, teacher, etc, you must pay special attention to them first.  Do what they want, ask questions, pay attention, show up, etc? If you show interest, they will naturally share more time, information and support for you.  And just by the fact that you are more interested, you will move ahead faster on you own, as well.

****************************

The master will appear, when the student is ready.  This quote will help you to keep the faith that things will be there when you need them.  Keep working on your goals, your projects, etc, even though you don't have all the answers.  Things will appear; just when you need them the most and you will attain your goals, if you keep going.

****************************

You have two things that guarantee you can be successful.  First you have potential you don't even know about and haven't tapped into yet.  Second, you don't have much competition.  Most people aren't going all out, not trying hard, or even trying.  So if you want to be successful, give it your all and chances are you will make it.

****************************

Brian Tracy says that obstacles are instructions, not obstructions.  When you hit a setback, step back and look at what it is telling you.  You are off course, and need to get back on course. So figure out what the obstacle is telling you, then set a new course and go back at it.

****************************

Realize that you only have a certain number of days left, and then decide how you want to live them.  Are you planning your life or your death?  Most people think about death 2 times every 15 minutes.  How often do you think of what you are going to do while you are still alive? Live each day with the understanding that it could be your final day and make sure you don't waste your precious time.  Each night as you go to bed, be able to put your head on the pillow and say, "I'm glad I did", instead of "I'm sorry I did". Your life is going by second, by second, and it can work for you or against you.  You have 86,400 seconds in a day, and it seems like a lot, but your future is determined by each one of those seconds.  Your life is lived one second at a time, and you can squander those seconds or your can invest them, the choice is yours. Learn to value each day, because if you use the average life span of men of 74 and women of 77, and subtract how old you are now from that, you will see on average, how many years you have left to live.  Don't you think you should start living your life now? Don't treat your life like you have a spare in the trunk.  Live life for now, there is no dress rehearsal for life. Pay attention to how you live your life and whom you live it with.  Life is very short and every second counts whether we know it or not.  Take your life more seriously and pay attention to how you are spending your time.

Trees are happy for no reason; they are not going to become prime ministers or presidents and they are not going to become rich and they will never have any bank balance. Look at the flowers – for no reason. It is simply unbelievable how happy flowers are.

Disappointment, hurt, and sadness come from the expectations we put on people, events, and situations. Instead of loving others simply to love them and doing things simply because you want to, so many do and love for what we hope to get back in return. When you begin to live from the pureness of LOVE and give from your soul, you will come to find that nobody and no situation can make you feel a certain way. Plant both feet firmly in the ground and keep your heart and spirit centered and you will find that joy, love, peace, and happiness will always be a steady, unshakable force in your life.

If there were ever a time to dare, to make a difference, to embark on something worth doing, it is now. Not for any grand cause, necessarily, but for something that tugs at your heart, something that's your aspiration, something that's your dream. You owe it to yourself to make your days here count. Have fun. Dig deep. Stretch. Dream big.

I have every reason in the world to be happy. I have one to a thousand reasons to feel good. Today, I count my blessings. I let the sun shine inside my heart and I see in its light the dazzling beauty that's within me. I see my strength, I see my compassion, I see my love, and I see my joy. I choose to feel connected, I choose to feel alive in this moment and I choose to feel good, happy, and whole. My life is good and I am blessed.

Gratitude in action

Gratitude is more than saying thank you. The real power of gratitude comes from making meaningful and valuable use of those things for which you are thankful.

It’s nice to be appreciative. It’s even better to put that appreciation into action by being creative and productive.

Life is overwhelmingly abundant. The way to enjoy and benefit from that abundance is by putting it to purposeful use.

In this place, in this moment, you are a vital steward of life’s great abundance. You have the opportunity, and the responsibility, of transforming that abundance into unique value.

Whatever may be going on in your world, be truly thankful for it. And then put that gratitude into action by making a positive difference.

Life’s goodness is not meant to be hidden away and hoarded. Life’s goodness is best used for making even more.

No Going Back
Every Step Is Forward

Sometimes during our spiritual growth we can feel as if we are going backwards, rest assured you are not.

There are times when we feel that we are spinning our wheels in the mud in terms of our spiritual progress. This can be especially true following a period of major growth in which we feel as if we've gained a lot of ground. In fact, this is the way growth goes ~ periods of intense forward movement give way to periods of what seems like stagnation. In those moments when we feel discouraged, it's helpful to remember that we don't ever really go backward. It may be that we are at a standstill because there is a new obstacle in our paths, or a new layer to get through, but the hard work we have done cannot be undone.

Every step on the path is meaningful, and even one that seems to take us backward is a forward step in the sense that it is what we must do to move to the next level. In addition, an intense growth spurt requires that we rest for a time in order to fully integrate the new energies that have been liberated by our hard work. When we feel we are not making progress, we can encourage ourselves to take a moment to rest. We can meditate more, feed ourselves well, and get extra sleep. Before we know it, we will be spurred on to work toward the next level of our development, and this rest will make sense then as something we needed in order to continue.

Once the sun rises, it doesn't go backward but instead follows its path in one direction. It may appear to stand still for a moment in time, or to move more slowly at some point or another, but really it is steadily moving forward on its path. We are the same way, and once we have moved through something we can never really go back. We may be resting or revisiting issues that seem old, and it's natural to feel stuck, but in truth we are always taking the next important step forward on our path.

Of course, anger can always be justified.

But then, so can forgiveness.

Just depends on how much more you want from the adventure.

What if today was your day? The most amazing day of your life, so far? A day that would change everything for the better? What's already good would become great. What's already great would become amazing. And what's already amazing would become the stuff of legends.

And all you had to do to take advantage of the good and wonderful things about to happen for you, was treat folks with a true and eager kindness, think mostly of those things that please you, and go out in the world, just a bit, where you could meet, and mingle, and fall in love?

How much would you be clucking right now? Thumbs under your armpits, getting funky? Bobbing your head?

Start clucking baby! Beam, gush, preen! You got it...

As you diminish contrast, you diminish your ability to decide, and as you diminish your ability to decide, you diminish your ability to focus, and as you diminish your ability to focus, you do away with your reason for existing.

The better you feel, emotionally, the more you are allowing your alignment with Source. The worse you feel, the more you are resisting Source. When no resistance is being offered by you, your natural state of alignment resumes—and so does the alignment between your cells and their Source.

The more good-feeling thoughts you focus upon, the more you allow the cells of your body to thrive. You will notice a marked improvement in clarity, agility, stamina, and vigor, for you are literally breathing your way to Well-Being, until chronic feelings of appreciation, love, eagerness, and joy will confirm that you have released all resistance and are now allowing Well-Being.

Recipe for Joy

1 - Seek joy first and foremost. 2 - Seek reasons to laugh. 3 - Seek reasons to offer words of praise to self and others. 4 - Seek beauty in nature, beasts and other humans. 5 -Seek reasons to love in every segment of every day. 6 - Look for something that brings forth within you a feeling of love. 7 - Seek that which uplifts you. 8 - Seek opportunity to offer that which uplifts another. 9 - Seek a feeling of well-being. 10 - Know that your value can only be measured in terms of joy.

And Number 11: Acknowledge your absolute freedom to do any of these things or not do any of these things, for it is without exception your choice in every moment of every day.

One Minute Motivator by Edward W. Smith

Show interest.  No one ever gets in trouble by showing too much interest, too much enthusiasm, etc, for the things they are involved it.  People like you to show interest in what they are interested in, so if you want them to be interested in you, you have to be interested in what they are interested in.

***************************

Just because you feel fear, doesn't mean you can't do the thing you are afraid of.  Fear has certain benefits in that it alerts you to possible problems, so it is a good check for things that can go wrong.  Once you are aware of the possible problems, fear has done its job and you should move on, either through the thing you are afraid of, or take another route.  The key thing is to move.  Feel the fear and move; which way, is up to you.

***************************

"It is waste to walk anywhere to preach, unless you preach everywhere you walk".  Make you actions fit your talk.  Talk the talk and walk the walk, be consistent in the things you say and do. You will fool no one but yourself if you aren't consistent in your talk and actions.

***************************

Grow through an experience, rather than just go through the experience.  Everything that you are exposed to, good or bad, is an experience.  And experience can be a great teacher.  Some of the worst people or events you are exposed to can be good learning experiences for you.  Don't shut off learning, just because you are not happy, or even if you are very happy.  Learn from everything, both the good and the bad.

Weekend's-almost-here nuggets! :-)

Here is your assignment...

1. You Will Receive A Body.
You may like it or not, but it will be yours for the entire period this time around.

2. You Will Learn Lessons.
You are enrolled in a full-time, informal school called Life. Each day in this school you will have the opportunity to learn lessons. You may like the lessons or think them irrelevant and stupid.

3. There Are No Mistakes, Only Lessons.
Growth is a process of trial and error, experimentation. The "failed"  experiments are as much as part of the process as the experiment that ultimately "works".

4. A Lesson Is Repeated Until it Is Learned.
A lesson will be presented to you in various forms until you have learned it, then you can go on to the next lesson.

5. Learning Lessons Does Not End.
There is no part of life that does not contain its lessons. If you are alive, there are lessons to be learned.

6. "There" Is No Better Than "Here".
When your "there" has become "here", you will simply obtain another "there" that will, again, look better than "here".

7. Others Are Merely Mirrors Of You.
You cannot love or hate something about another person unless it reflects to you something you love or hate about yourself.

8. What You Make of Your Life is Up To You.
You have all the tools and resources you need, what you do with them is up to you. The choice is yours.

9. The Answers Life Inside You.
The answers to life's questions lie inside you. All you need to do is look listen, and trust.

10. Whether You Think You Can Or Can't, In Either Case You'll Be Right.

Think about it.

Easter Exultet

Shake out your qualms.
Shake up your dreams.
Deepen your roots.
Extend your branches.
Trust deep water
and head for the open,
even if your vision
shipwrecks you.
Quit your addiction
to sneer and complain.
Open a lookout.
Dance on a brink.
Run with your wildfire.
You are closer to glory
leaping an abyss
than upholstering a rut.
Not dawdling.
Not doubting.
Intrepid all the way
Walk toward clarity.
At every crossroad
Be prepared
to bump into wonder.
Only love prevails.
En route to disaster
insist on canticles.
Lift your ineffable
out of the mundane.
Nothing perishes;
nothing survives;
everything transforms!

Starting New
A Moment of Choice

We can choose to start over in this very moment, there is no need to wait for a new year or a new month or a new week.

There are times in our lives that lend themselves to starting something new. The beginning of a new year, finishing school, leaving a job, or changing homes ~ these all are times that turn our minds to fresh starts. Their advantage is that they bring with them the energy of that event, creating a tide of change around them that we can ride to our next shoreline. But we can choose to start anew anytime. In any moment we can decide that a bad day or a relationship that‚s gotten off on the wrong foot can be started again. It is a mental shift that allows us to clean the slate and approach anything with fresh eyes, and we can make that choice at any time.

Starting new is most powerful when we focus our attention to what we are choosing to create. Giving all of our attention to the unwanted aspects of our lives allows what we resist to persist. We need to remember to leave enough room in the process of new beginnings to be kind to ourselves, because it takes time to become accustomed to anything new, no matter how much we like it. There is no need to get down on ourselves if we don‚t reach our new goals instantly. Instead, we acknowledge the forward motion and choose to reset and start again, knowing that with each choice we learn, grow, and move forward.

Making the choice to start anew has its own energy ~ it's a promise made to you. The forward momentum creates a sort of vacuum behind it, pulling toward you all you need to help you continue moving in your chosen direction. Once the journey has begun, it may take unexpected turns, but it never really ends. Like cycles in nature, there are periods of obvious growth and periods of dormancy that signal a time of waiting for the right moment to burst forth. Each time we choose to start anew we dedicate ourselves to becoming the best we are able to be.

Loving Presence
Surround Yourself with Love

One of the easiest and nicest gifts you can give to yourself is surrounding yourself with loving and kind people whenever possible.

In our everyday life we are surrounded by a variety of people. Some of the people we deal with on a daily basis are a joy to be with, and their loving presence nurtures and encourages us. Others may have the opposite effect, draining us of our energy, making us feel tired and exhausted. Our well-being can be easily influenced by those around us, and if we can keep this in mind, we will have greater insights into the quality of our social interactions and their energetic effect on us.

Once we think more deeply about the people we interact with, it becomes easier for us to work toward filling our lives with people who help us cultivate healthy and positive relationships. Even though it might not always seem like we have much control over who we are with, we do. The power to step back from toxicity lies within us. All we have to do is take a few moments to reflect on how another person makes you feel. Assessing the people we spend the most time with allows us to see if they add something constructive to, or subtract from, our lives. Should a friend sap our strength, for example, we can simply set the intention to tell them how we feel or simply spend less time with them. We will find that the moment we are honest with ourselves about our own feelings, the more candid we can be with others about how they make us feel. While this may involve some drastic changes to our social life it can bring about a personal transformation that will truly empower us, since ! the decision to live our truth will infuse our lives with greater happiness.

When we surround ourselves with positive people, we clear away the negativity that exists around us and create more room to welcome nurturing energy. Doing this not only enriches our lives but also envelopes us in a supportive and healing space that fosters greater growth, understanding, and love of ourselves as well as those we care about.

**************************************

Feeling Lonely

An Incomplete Understanding

When we are feeling lonely, we have lost the idea that we are all one and none of us are separate from the whole.

We all have days when we feel lonely, but the very idea of loneliness comes from the false notion that we are separate and isolated parts in a world filled with other separate, isolated parts. In truth, we can no more be separate from our world than a fish can be separate from the water in which it swims. When we really begin to look at the boundaries we see as so solid, they prove to be, in fact, quite porous. For example, it is not clear exactly where our skin ends and the air begins when we consider how our skin is affected by changes in the quality of the air. When it is dry, our skin becomes dry, and when it is humid, our skin becomes moist and supple.

By the same token, it is difficult sometimes to distinguish the boundary between one person and another, especially when our actions tie us together so inextricably. Every move we make has an effect that touches all the people around us. On an even more subtle level, when we share space with another person, we often pick up on their energy, feeling how they feel and attuning to them, whether we mean to or not. This is what we mean when we say a mood or a feeling is contagious. We cannot help but be part of the realities of the people around us because we take form from the same energetic force, and this force unifies all life. This force is the light that all the great mystics and gurus encourage us to move toward, and it is the light we will dissolve into when we move beyond our individual egos.

If loneliness is a temporary condition based on an incomplete understanding of what we are made of, we can think of its presence as a catalyst for exploring our ideas about reality. We can respond by testing the boundaries we believe separate us from the life within and all around us. If we test them, we will discover that they are not so solid after all and that we can never really be alone.

Promise yourself

Promise yourself that you will make the most of this priceless moment. Promise yourself you will direct your attention and your efforts toward those things that have real meaning and purpose.

Promise yourself that you will be yourself, in a truly loving, authentic and effective way, in all that you do. Promise yourself you won’t waste your valuable time on useless anger, resentment, envy or worry.

Remind yourself what an extraordinary opportunity you have on even the most ordinary of days. Show yourself how great and fulfilling life can be with the way you choose to live each moment.

Give yourself good and compelling reasons to get up each day and get going in a positive and productive manner. Give yourself great, wonderful, special dreams that are absolutely worth living for.

Allow yourself to see the value and beauty in every situation. Tell yourself, again and again, how fortunate you are to be able to zero in on the positive possibilities and use them to make a real difference in life.

Fill yourself with joy and enthusiasm as you greet each dawning day. And promise yourself to make each one rich and truly meaningful in your own unique way.

***************************

Be inspiring

Common sense would tell you that it’s difficult to be positive and inspired when the circumstances of your life are negative or painful or disheartening. Yet it is at precisely those times that inspiration can be the most beneficial.

Certainly there are many things in life that can lead you and prompt you to be inspired. However, even without any positive factors in the outside world, you can be positively inspired.

Inspiration is a powerful fire that burns on the inside. Sometimes there’s nothing else to ignite that fire, so you must do it yourself.

Sometimes life’s experience doesn’t validate or encourage your most deeply held values. But that’s not any reason to abandon those values.

Instead of always depending on the world to inspire you, choose to be a brilliant, positive source of inspiration yourself. The spark of inspiration must begin somewhere, so if life seems to lack inspiration, let that spark begin with you.

The most reliable way to be inspired is to be inspiring. Feel the simple, yet profound joy of being, and let your positive spirit shine a light that lifts up all those around you.

Notes from the Universe

As you know, for those already within time and space, their lives are usually all about finding love and making money.

Yet not so long ago, while awaiting their first turn, breathing would have been enough.

So much air, so little time -

Wild, huh, how the entirety of living deliberately can be summed up in just three words?

Thoughts become things.

Of course, beliefs are important too, but your thoughts can change what you believe.

And words are important, they're your thoughts that will become things the soonest.

And taking action is absolutely critical, because more than anything else, it creates expectation.

Spread the word,

The Teachings of Abraham by Esther and Jerry Hicks

In your world today there are countless action remedies, medicines, surgeries, and exercises offered—but there are not enough actions in the world to compensate for Vibrational resistance. Our daily meditations will provide a basis, or nucleus, for physical improvement; and it will also enhance any other treatments and remedies that you may already be involved in.

Since every disease or unwanted condition exists because Well-Being is being disallowed, then, in the absence of that disallowance, Well-Being will return.

It is a common thing for people to begin to lean in the direction of recovery, only to stop and take score too soon. And when they still find unwanted symptoms or conditions, they then offer resistant thought and lose the improved ground they have gained. With consistent releasing of resistance, all unwanted conditions will subside, returning you to your natural state of Well-Being.

*************************

Many around you want to point out "reality" to you. They say, "Face the facts. Look at what-is." And we say to you, if you are able to see only what-is — then, by Law of Attraction, you will create only more of what-is... You must be able to put your thoughts beyond what-is in order to attract something different or something more.

*************************

Take the worthiness that is yours, and let the "Fairies of the Universe" assist you. Stop taking so much responsibility upon yourself, and live happily ever after. Shorten that crevasse between where you are and where you want to be, on every subject, to now, now, now, now, now. Ride the wave. Just pluck the fruit... You don't have to be the one who puts it in the ground any more. You can just skip across the top of things and pluck the fruit of all of the things you want. "Oh, fruit. Oh, delicious this, delicious this, delicious this, delicious this." In other words, it's all right there for you; it's ready for you to receive it as fast and as soon as you will vibrationally let it in.

Learn to say no to people that are wasting your time. Be polite, but say no. You have your goals, your commitments, and you still take time to be helpful, however everyone has their limits. Learn to say no to those things that are clearly out of your area, you will save time for yourself and you will let the person asking for your help, move on to someone that can really help them. Time is all you have, so learn to guard it carefully and of course use it wisely. Say no to people and things when you need to.

*************************

Don't just pursue your goal.  Wear your goal, live your goal, inhabit it, act it, taste it.  Make it your total being.  Goals that you are not committed to are just nice ideas of something you would like to do someday.  Goals that you live are ideas about to happen.  East, sleep and of course dream your goals and they will be yours.

*************************

Do you know what to do when you make a mistake?  Move on.  Everyone makes mistakes, but not everyone fixes them. Fix the mistake as best you can, learn from the mistake, and then move on.  Don't focus on the mistake, focus on how you learned from it and can do better next time.  You can be a better person as a result of making a mistake, make sure you are, and then move on.

Daily Teaching from The Power

Imagine and feel having the health you want in your body. If you want to restore your eyesight, give love for perfect vision and imagine having it. Give love for perfect hearing and imagine having it. Give love for the perfect weight, perfect body, perfect health of an organ, and imagine having it, and be utterly grateful for everything you do have! Your body will change into whatever you want, but it can only do it through feelings of love and gratitude.

When a young, fit woman was told she had a rare heart disease, her life crumbled around her. She suddenly felt weak and fragile. Her future - a normal, healthy life - had disappeared with the prognosis. She was terrified of leaving her two young daughters motherless. But this woman decided she was going to do everything she could to heal her heart.

She refused to entertain any negative thoughts about her heart. She placed her right hand on her heart every day and imagined her strong, healthy heart. Every morning when she woke, she gave the deepest thanks for her strong, healthy heart. She imagined the cardiologists telling her that she was cured. She did these things every day for four months, and when her cardiologist checked her heart four months later, they were dumbfounded. They checked and rechecked the old tests against the new test, because the new test showed that the woman's heart was perfectly strong and healthy.

This woman lived according to love's law of attraction. She did not own the prognosis of a diseased heart in her mind, but she gave love for a healthy heart, and she owned a healthy heart instead. If you are facing any kind of illness, do your best not to own it with your thoughts and words. Don't hate an illness either, because that is giving negativity to it. Instead, give love to health, own health, and make it yours.

"Keep your mind as much as you can from dwelling on your ailment. Think of strength and power and you will draw it to you. Think of health and you get it."

Today is a choice

Today is a choice. Choose to make it beautiful and productive.

Today is filled with challenges, opportunities, frustrations, possibilities and much more. Choose to make good and meaningful use of it all.

No matter what you have chosen or failed to choose in the past, today you can choose to live at your highest, most fulfilling level. No matter what today brings, you can respond with love, kindness, joy, gratitude and genuine enthusiasm for making a positive difference.

In all of time, today is the one day with which you can now work. Today you can choose to express the miracle of existence in a way that is uniquely yours.

Today, you can choose to lift up and strengthen the values and visions that truly mean the most to you. Today you can choose to rise above the petty negativity and to focus on bringing new beauty and richness to life.

Today is a choice, and you are in a position to make it the smartest, most loving, authentic and meaningful choice you’ve ever made. Today is your choice, so choose to make it the best one yet.

********************************

Let it all be

Do your best at doing what you do, and accept that the rest is as it is. Hold yourself to the highest standards, while letting go of your need to place judgments on others.

Free yourself from the burdens of anger and resentment. No amount of negativity can change what has already happened.

Tap into life’s immense abundance by gracefully and gratefully accepting what is. Give richness and meaning to that abundance by putting it to good use with focused effort and persistence.

Nothing is achieved by getting uptight about things that don’t really matter anyway. Let it all be, take it all in, and put all your focus and energy into making a positive difference going forward.

Make life good in every moment by allowing life’s goodness to be and to grow. Instead of fighting against what has already come to be, make a point of finding the value in it all, and in making that value grow.

From here, you can go anywhere. Let this moment be, and rise from it into the reality of the very best life you can envision.

Love Shows the Way
We Are Here to Serve

When we open our hearts in love instead of closing them in fear, we serve the divine process.

We are living in a time of great change. Many thinkers and seers agree that humanity and the planet Earth are evolving at a quickened pace, and that this evolution will necessarily be severe and seemingly chaotic at times. It is natural for people to react with fear, because these changes will doubtless bring some level of difficulty and loss to many of us. However, it is essential that we all remember that our souls chose to be here at this time and to be part of this process. Every movement in the universe is a movement toward love. This is true even in situations that appear on the surface to be the opposite of loving.

Since we chose to be here, we are capable and ready to rise to the challenges in which we find ourselves. It is helpful to reflect on our own lives and make any changes necessary to fully support humanity and the planet into the state of love. When we open our hearts in love instead of closing them in fear, we serve the divine process. We are all powerful spirits who took form at this time in order to serve our fellow humans, our planet, and the universe. As we find ways we can serve, our fear dissipates. We may serve by remaining calm and loving with our children and our families, even as the situation seems dark. We may serve by sending money to people who need financial assistance. We may serve by going out into the world and actively helping to rebuild lives. Regardless of what actions we choose to take, the essential element will be the internal gesture of choosing to remain in love. This is all that is needed.

When it is difficult to remain in love, we may always call upon our unseen helpers: the teachers and guides who are always with us. All we need to do is ask and then trust that we are being helped. The guidance we receive is love itself, showing us the way

Seeing Inside
Sight Versus Vision

Vision comes from within and shows us how to navigate the realms of thought, feeling, and emotion.

Sight is the ability to see the physical world while vision is the gift of seeing beyond it. Sight enables us to take the physical world in so we can participate in it with knowledge. It brings us pleasure through our eyes, which perceive the colors and shapes of all the myriad expressions of nature and human beings. It helps us feel in control, allowing us to see what is coming toward us, which way we are going, and exactly where we are standing at a given moment. We are able to read signs and books, navigate the interiors of buildings with ease, sense and perceive how a person is feeling by the expressions that cross her face.

As anyone who has lost their eyesight can tell you, though, there are things that are clearer when you cannot see the world through your eyes. One of the reasons many meditation instructors advise sitting with the eyes closed is because we automatically become more in touch with our inner world when we are not distracted by the outer world. It is in this state that vision becomes our mode of seeing. Vision comes from within and shows us how to navigate the realms of thought, feeling, and emotion. It enables us to see things that aren‚t yet manifested in the world of form, and it also connects us to that part of ourselves that exists separately from the world of form.

As we age, even those of us with perfect eyesight will generally lose some of our acuity, but this loss is usually replaced with inner vision. This is the time of life when we are meant to turn inside and take what are sometimes the very first steps of a journey that cannot be traced on a map. We call upon intuition and feel our way along a path that ultimately carries us beyond the realm we can see with our eyes and into the land of spirit.

Notes from the Universe

Always, kindness prevails. No matter how things appear, nor how humbling a task, nor how unkind they've been.

Always,

Would it be enough to know (and you can know this through deductive reasoning), that long ago, when the two of us carefully mapped out your pending adventure into the jungles of time and space: the hills and valleys you would traverse; the setbacks and advances you would encounter; the good, the bad, and the ugly, and all of the lives you would touch; when our planning was done and the "big picture" was revealed...

You burst into tears of joy, overwhelmed with its perfection and who you'd become.

Yeah, like a baby -

Well, if not, the following might not make much sense:

"You're getting hot! Steaming hot! Really HOT!! Ouch, you're so hot! Smoking, red-hot-chili-pepper, volcano, extremely, DOUBLE-HOT! HOT! HOT! NOW, NOW-W-W-W-W-W-W!"

The Teachings of Abraham by Esther and Jerry Hicks

"Do I have a responsibility to make the whole world beat to my drum?" No, nor could you. You beat your drum, and the Universe will respond to the drum that you are beating… There are as many different worlds being lived by as many different perceivers of the world as there are perceivers of the worlds.

**********************

You never get it done, and you cannot get it wrong. Life is supposed to be fun: you are creator, you are a focusing mechanism, and you are here in an environment that is very conducive to that. When you get hold of an idea, play it out for the pleasure in it. If you are doing it for any other reason, then you are not connecting to your Source Energy.

**********************

So, the truth is, there's not one path. The truth is, there's not only one right path. The truth is, all paths can be made to be the right path. The truth is, that every individual has a different path. And that different path that every individual is launching incrementally—and amending constantly—that true path is known by Source and is guided by Source if you will pay attention to the way you feel.

**********************

Parents don't want their children to make the wrong decisions, so they don't allow them to make the decision. And then the child becomes dependent, and then the parent resents that, and it gets off into a blameful thing early on. If you are encouraging children to do all that they can do — and not squelching the natural eagerness that is within them, so that they can shine and thrive and show you and themselves how good they are at adapting to physical experience — then everyone wins.

**********************

The little ones still remember how to use the power of their imagination. They are still engaged in the utilization of their imagination — that is one of the reasons that keeps them so exhilarated.

*****************************************

One Minute Motivator by Edward W. Smith

Focus is power. You get what you focus on. This can be good or bad. If you have negative focus, you will tend to have negative results, and positive focus, tends to have positive results. Focus brings all your power together and enables you to do things in one area that you couldn't do without focus. It is a powerful tool and it can be misused. Keep focusing, and make sure it is on positive things, and you will move towards what you want.

**********************

When you don't feel like working, ask yourself what your competition is doing right now. Chances are that you will think of them working in some way, and you are probably right. Put yourself in a position, so that when you think of the competition, you think of them as still in bed, while you are our working, preparing, training, etc..  You need to work harder, smarter and longer than your competition, if you want to beat them.  Get up earlier, stay up later, and stay focused on beating your competition.  And you will.

**********************

Don't take rejection personally.  Everyone encounters rejection, every day.  But not everyone handles it well.  Some people quit, some people cut back, but others press on.  Be the one who presses on.  Most things in life are a numbers game.  You have to make x amounts of try's before you get what you want.  We just don't know what the magic number is, and the only way we find out, is to make those tries, until you make it.  While others are quitting, or cutting back, you should say to yourself, "I am one step closer to making it now". The only thing you should take personally is the wins.

**********************

Make one small change that moves you toward you goal, now. Small changes lead to big changes, they build your confidence, and they give you feedback you are on the right track. Don't hold off making a change until you are ready to make that really big change. That time will never come. Start now and put a series of small changes together and before long, you will be where you want to be, and hardly realize you did it.

*****************************************

Your attitude is contagious. This can be good or bad. If your attitude is negative, that negativity will spread to others. On the other hand, if your attitude is positive, that will spread to others as well. If you want to be around people that are positive, we need to start the process and be positive first. Most things that you want will come to you faster in a positive environment, so take the steps needed to create a positive focus, by being positive yourself.

*****************************************

Daily Teaching from The Power

Before you eat food or drink water, look at what you're about to eat or drink and feel love and gratitude. Make sure your conversations are positive when you are sitting down to a meal.

Blessing food gives love and gratitude for food. As you bless food, you change the structure of the water in the food and its effect on your body. Blessing water with love and gratitude does the same thing. Your positive feelings of love can change the structure of water in everything - so use the power.

You can give love and gratitude and use their power while receiving any medical treatment. If you can imagine being well, you can feel  being well, and if you can feel it, you can receive it. To see your health improve, all you have to do is give love more than 50 percent of the time. Just 51 percent is the tipping point from sickness to health.

When having your eyesight checked or blood pressure checked, or if you're having a general checkup, receiving results from tests, or anything concerning your health, it is very important that you are feeling good during it and while receiving the results, in order to receive a good outcome. By the law of attraction, the outcome of the checkup or tests must match the frequency you're on, so to bring the good outcome you want, you must be on the frequency to receive it! Life does not happen the other way around. The outcome of every situation in your life will always match your frequency because that is the law of attraction! To get yourself onto a good feeling frequency about a test, imagine the outcome you want and feel that you have already received that outcome. Every possible outcome can happen, but you must be on a good feeling frequency to receive good outcomes.
