Wednesday nuggets...

I CHOOSE ONLY PEACE

Today I choose peace over everything else; I choose peace all throughout the day. Every decision I make will be based on this. No matter what my options are, today I choose only peace.

ASSIGNMENT
Spend the day in silence. Speak only if you must, and only to bring light and peace.

Affirmation: I love my peace.
Remember to keep your word today.

One of the secrets of a long and fruitful life is to forgive everybody everything every night before you go to bed.

A Biblical suggestion for egoic transformation. "Let each esteem others better than himself." That is a wild idea for these days and times. But look closely. When I am busy building others up, that doesn't take anything away from me. As I encourage, nurture and edify others, I feel less need to encourage, nurture and edify my ego. My true self can then have more room to come forth.

People are like stained-glass windows.
They sparkle and shine when the sun is out,
but when the darkness sets in,
their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light from within.

A Note from the Universe

In a way, life itself tracks a person's generosity, much like an airline might track frequent flyer miles. The more you give, the more you earn, the higher you fly, and the further you go.

Worthiness, in very simple terms, means I have found a way to let the Energy reach me, the Energy that is natural, reach me. Worthiness, or unworthiness, is something that is pronounced upon you by you. You are the only one that can deem yourself worthy or unworthy. You are the only one who can love yourself into a state of allowing, or hate yourself in a state of disallowing. There is not something wrong with you, nor is there something wrong with one who is not loving you. You are all just, in the moment, practicing the art of not allowing, or the art of resisting.

You, on the leading edge of thought, are here enormously, creatively involved. There's something so satisfying about asking and deliberately aligning your Energy and deliberately finding the familiar feeling of that, and then seeing it manifest.

Be a magnet for ideas.  Set aside 5 minutes each day, at the same time, and if possible in the same place, to think about new ideas.  Ideas are the key to success and it only takes one to make you rich.  By setting up a time and place to generate new ideas, it becomes one of your goals and by acting on it, it will happen.  Just a few good ideas will set you apart from your competition and propel you towards your goals.

Daily Teaching from The Power

So to put it frankly, we need to be mindful of not sticking our nose in other people's business, because their business will get stuck on our nose! Unless you want it in your life, turn away from it without feeling anything. You'll not only be doing yourself a favor, but you'll also be doing the other people a favor who don't realize the negative effect gossip can have on their lives.

If you find yourself gossiping or listening to gossip, stop mid-sentence and say, "But I am so grateful that..." and finish the sentence with something good about the person being gossiped about.

"If a man speaks or acts with an evil thought, pain follows him. If a man speaks or acts with a pure thought, happiness follows him, like a shadow that never leaves him."
                        ~ Gautama Buddha (563-483BC)
                        Founder of Buddhism
