Love is the very essence of your being.  Your objective is to ask love within you to make it's presence known, to have an awareness of being so full of love that this is what you have to give away.
By doing just that, you'll attract more of what you're giving away.
                        ~ Dr. Wayne Dyer

If love is universal, no one can be left out.

If you allow yourself to breathe into the depth, wonder, beauty, craziness, and strife ~ everything that represents the fullness of your life ~ you can live fearlessly. Because you come to realize that if you just keep breathing, you cannot be conquered.

There is always going to be bad stuff out there. But here's the amazing thing: light trumps darkness, every time. You stick a candle in the dark, but you can't stick the dark into the light.

Steps to Freedom

Change What Isn’t Working
If we don't change what isn't working in our lives, we will continually have the same day over and over again.

We have all had the experience of realizing that something in our lives is not working. This knowledge can come as a sudden realization or a nagging feeling of doubt that grows stronger, waking us up to the fact that something needs to change. Some people have a tendency to act rashly and make sweeping changes before even understanding what the problem is. Other people fear change, so they live with the uncomfortable awareness that something needs to shift but won't do anything about it. Between these two extreme responses lies a middle way that can help us powerfully and gracefully change what isn't working in our lives.

The first step is remembering that your life is made up of parts that belong to an interconnected whole. Changing one thing can change everything. Because of this, small changes often have a big effect. Sometimes much bigger changes are necessary, but the only way to know for sure is to take the time to really understand the problem. Examine your life as an entirety ~ your work, your relationships, where you live ~ and determine what specifically is not functioning the way you would like. Once you have figured out the problem, write it down on a piece of paper. For example, "I am not happy with my relationship" or "I don‚t like my apartment". The next step is to figure out the adjustment you would like to make and how you can go about making this change. If you are unhappy with your relationship because you spend too much or not enough time with your partner, you may want to discuss this problem with them and come up with a compromise. On the other hand, if you realize your relationship is not working to such a degree that it needs to end, begin working through that process. Writing down the truth can be a powerful catalyst for change.

The key to making changes that work is to accept the necessity of change as part of life. As we change, we may find it necessary to fine-tune our relationships, work, and living situations. Our lives are living, breathing entities that reflect our dynamic selves.

This is my simple religion. There is no need for temples; no need for complicated philosophy. Our own brain, our own heart is our temple; the philosophy is kindness.

Life should be be touched, not strangled. You've got to relax, let it happen at times, and at others move forward with it.

Notes from the Universe

Just as you are today, challenges and all, you're still the envy of the Universe.

I know,
    The Universe

With the vista of a new year still dawning, is it my imagination, or is someone out there forgetting that the "hows" are my domain? That when it comes to manifesting change, their real job is to focus upon the end result? And that simply doing what they can, with what they've got, from where they are, will always be enough to move heaven and earth?

I didn't think so.

At the heart of every condition is a vibrational pattern—a rather minor tweaking of vibrational patterning (sort of like the hub of a wheel) can affect tremendously out there on the peripheral of this big wheel… A little bit of tweaking on the emotion can make big differences in the way the physical manifestation occurs.

It should only be talked about if the talking will make you feel better. It is of no value, ever, to activate and talk about something that doesn't feel good, because it reactivates it in your vibration; it makes it another point of your point of attraction so you're less clear.
In other words, when you focus upon the problems of others, you diminish your ability to help them. People believe that you've got to focus upon the problem in order to find a solution. And we say, no solution ever comes forth - it's never inspired; you never recognize it, and you are never able to facilitate or achieve it - from your place of focusing on the problem. They are two entirely different vibrations. If you have someone who has many things going wrong and one thing going right, beat the drum of what's going right, and let that be your point of attraction. If you focus upon their problems, you achieve vibrational harmony with something other than the Source that gives you solution.
~ 'The Teachings of Abraham' by Esther and Jerry Hicks

Play the cards you have been dealt.  Don't try to change what you have been given up to this point; focus on using what you have now, where you are now, right now.  You can change your future, but you can't change your past.  You can learn from you past, and put this knowledge to good use in your future actions.  Learn to live with what you have been given and maximize the results you get from what you have, instead of using that time and energy feeling sorry for yourself.

Treat every day like a special day. Each day is in fact special, even though we may not think it is.  Every day gives us a new chance to work on our goals, a new chance to enjoy the progress we have made, a chance to work and a chance to play.  It is up to us to take this new day and make it as special as it deserves to be.  We can make it the same as any other day, or we can take the steps the make this day the best day of our lives.  Ask yourself what would make it your best day, and what you would have to do to make that happen, and then DO IT.

Daily Teaching from The Power

Points of Power

  • With every single person you come into contact, you are either giving love or you're not. And based on what you give, that is what you receive.
  • Give love to others through kindness, encouragement, support, gratitude, or any good feeling, and it comes back to you multiplied in every area of your life.
  • Look for the things you love in a relationship more than you notice negative things and it will appear as it something incredible has happened to the other person.
  • Trying to change another person, thinking you know what is best for another person, thinking you are right and another person is wrong, is not giving love!
  • Criticizing, blaming, complaining, nagging, or finding fault with another person is not giving love
  • You have to be happy to receive the happy versions of other people!
  • The force of love presents you with a whole array of Personal Emotional Trainers, disguised as everyday people, but they are all training you to choose love!
  • You can stick everything you love and want to you by looking for the things you love in other people, and saying yes to those qualities with all of your heart!
